The TV Set Design Forums rules are as follows:

    • Be cool.
    • Do not advertise for your company. There is no need for your company name or web address in these forums unless being provided as a truly appropriate solution to someone's problem. Any self-serving discussion items will be censored or deleted.
    • Appreciate everyone's input and questions. This is how help happens. Any questions or answers, wrong or right, are steps to providing the information we created this forum for. One of the mentors of the TV Set Designs staff used to say, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".

    That is all.

    Hi-
I actually was looking for opinions on flooring. I am working on a set for religious programs/webcasts. They will be shooting in the sanctuary and would like a modular floor that can be removed for other events. The program is a chat/news type show so does not require much space for the shoot and will have a platform for the desk/table. I have looked at roscoe tiles but would prefer a "wood" surface.

Hi Meg the pergo floors have a hook in the tongue and groove that holds the pieces together, but it takes a bit of time. You can purchase 12ft wide rolled flooring that has a wood type color. We print and assemble a floor tile that's 40in x 40in and drops together with velcro. Let me know if you think the tile would work.
