The Straight Frames we create for broadcast studios are available in a variety of heights to fit your studio space.
These lightweight, durable frames are made of 18 gauge powder coated steel tubing that will last for decades. Typically, we attach one side of hook and loop (like Velcro) to one side of the frames, and the other side of the hook and loop to different materials (skins) to create the walls of the broadcast set.
The frames have standard connections that allow the owner to rearrange for almost limitless possibilities. Tired of the look of your set? Have a new program that requires a different look? These broadcast set frames are like an oversized Lego set (more like erector, but not many people remember those). You can take it apart, rearrange the frames, get some new skins (even make your own), and you’ve got a whole new look for your set.
Do you have a need for your new broadcast set to disappear? Walls made of this frame system are only an inch thick. You would never be able to tell on camera, but a 40′ wall can be taken down to make a stack only 1′ tall. This makes for easy shipping, moving, and storage of broadcast sets made with this system.
